For which medical-transport needs?
Medical transport covers a wide range of situations: medical appointments, examinations, hospital discharges, and recurring care such as dialysis or chemotherapy. Depending on your condition, the doctor prescribes the right mode: an ambulance for lying-down transport, a VSL or an approved taxi for seated transport.
Transport reimbursed by French health insurance
With a medical prescription, medical transport is covered from 55% to 100% depending on your situation. For long-term illness (ALD), coverage can reach 100%. Matching through ARG is entirely free.

Yes — with a medical prescription, medical transport is covered by French health insurance (up to 100% for long-term illness, under conditions). ARG connects you with registered companies.
What's the difference between an ambulance, a VSL and an approved taxi?
An ambulance for lying-down/medicalised transport; a VSL or approved taxi for seated transport. If unsure, choose “I don't know”.
Is ARG an ambulance company?
No. ARG Ambulances Réseaux is a matching platform: we direct requests to licensed partner medical-transport companies.
Is booking paid?
No, the matching is free. You only pay for the transport according to French health-insurance rules.
