Ambulance
A medical-transport vehicle with a trained crew for patients requiring medical supervision (stretcher, oxygen, monitoring) — including lying-down or seated transport with crew.
VSL (light medical vehicle)
A vehicle for seated transport of autonomous patients, without specific medical monitoring.
Approved taxi
A taxi that signed an agreement with French health insurance, for seated medical transport.
ALD (long-term illness)

Transport prescription
A medical document from your doctor that sets the appropriate mode and enables reimbursement.
Registration (conventionnement)
An agreement between the company and health insurance that allows reimbursement of the transport.
